Welcome to the Ohashi Lab The focus of our lab is to investigate the mechanisms that maintain tolerance or promote T cell activation, leading to the induction of immunity, autoimmunity or potentially tumor immunity. We have used a combination of transgenic models that allow us to follow a responding T cell population specific for a defined self antigen or tumor associated antigen. In many studies we have also combined these models with various gene deficient mice to examine the importance of different molecules on the induction of T cell tolerance or activation. |
